This post is a bit (if not to say completely) different from my previous wedding venue posts: I won’t be publishing neither the name of the villa, nor will I be giving a link to its website. The owners of the villa prefer to avoid big publicity and keep the venue rather private and intimate instead, carefully choosing the vendors and event organisers to work with. Milknhoney Wedding is proud to be one of them.
This, however, does not mean that you cannot organise a wedding of your dreams here, for this amazing venue is totally worth going an extra mile for. The villa boasts a beautiful garden where the wedding reception can be held for up to 230 people, a night club, a spacious ballroom for not-so-hot weather, a spa complex with sauna & hammam, an outside swimming pool and 11 suites, any of which is good enough to be your nuptial suite. This is one of two very special posts for me. I am truly delighted to feature La Mandala Beach on the pages of my blog and cannot recommend it enough: be it a wedding reception, a rehearsal dinner, a birthday party or a corporate event – La Mandala will not leave anyone indifferent or under-impressed. As a general rule for weddings abroad, save-the-dates and formal invitations are sent earlier than those for local weddings. Don’t forget that your guests will have to plan trips, allocate budget, take vacations… All this requires time – so make sure you give enough of it to the people who you wish to see at your wedding.
Save-the-dates can be sent off as early as one year before the big day. Especially if there are people who will be coming from a different continent. Invitations should follow after a few months but not later than 4 months before the big day.Read More »
Showing your guests how glad you are to share one of the happiest days of your life with them is just as important as sending out the Thank-You notes within one month after the wedding. Actually, both these aspects are a sign of respect, appreciation and care.
Many – if not most of your guests, if you are getting married abroad – will have travelled a long way, spent a lot of money and probably took several days-off from work to be able to be with you two and share those special moments with you and it is just right to make them feel how much you appreciate it.Read More »

I have been meaning to write about this sumptuous residence for way too long but now nothing will get in the way!
