Château de la Napoule is one of the few fairytale castles on the French Riviera. And the only one that combines stunning views, luscious gardens, imperial interiors and rich history. It is this amazing blend that makes Château de la Napoule an inspired choice for your wedding day.

The Chateau was initially built in the XIV century. Partially destroyed and rebuilt several times throughout its history, it was not before the year 1918 when its today’s look was shaped up. An incredibly romantic story of Henry and Marie Clews – an American couple who purchased the property – is the Chateau’s heritage and the embodiment of its spirit. Having abandoned their stressful life in Paris Henry and Marie fell in love with the half-destroyed fortress of La Napoule and took its restoration in their hands. With Henry’s passion for sculpture and Marie’s talent in architecture and landscape design, the husband and wife turned the property into one of the most beautiful medieval castles in all of France.
After her beloved husband’s timeless death, Marie created a non-profit foundation in his name. Today the Château de la Napoule is a museum and home of the La Napoule Art Foundation. It is also an extremely sought-after wedding venue for couples from all over the world, who wish to celebrate their union in a magic place, created by the people who loved each other all their lives.

The Chateau is surrounded by a massive rampart protecting you and your guests from the hustle of the outside world and making your big day a truly intimate experience. There are several elegant event spaces that can be used for weddings, including the spectacular waterfront terrace, ideal for both: wedding ceremonies and pre-dinner cocktails with a breathtaking sea view as a background.

The main Medieval Dining room with a capacity of 100 people is a great choice for a seated dinner and can also be transformed into your private nightclub. And, of course, the magnificent gardens of the Chateau, together with the main walkway to the central courtyard make an impressive and elegant choice for a bridal procession. The gardens, by the way, are listed among the “Notable Gardens of France” – a list, in which one does not get included without a good reason!

Consider the Chateau’s spacious outside courtyard for your wedding dinner of up to 500 people. Here you can also fit a marquee or a tent structure – the best option for non-summer weddings. The courtyard is surrounded by the gardens where your guests can stroll throughout the evening.
